JMD are now JAM Card Friendly!
JMD are now JAM Card Friendly!
We are delighted to announce that JMD Training is now a JAM card friendly business.
Over the past couple of weeks the team have been busy completing their JAM Card for Business training so we can fully support our customers when needed.
For those of you who may not be aware of it, what is the JAM card? The JAM Card was created in 2012 by NOW Group participants with learning difficulties and autism who wanted a discreet way to ask for 'Just a Minute' of patience when they needed it.
Due to it's brilliant simplicity the use of JAM Card continues to grow, allowing more individuals with invisible disabilities or communication barriers to get the support they need.
Thank you to Maria Robinson and Kieran Quinn for their help and support with this as part of The Belfast Business Promise program with Belfast City Council.
