One in three accidents at work are caused by manual handling and usually involve damage to the back. If you or your team members are required to lift and move objects at work, this course will show you how to carry out different types of lifts safely, so as to reduce the likelihood of injury arising from any manual handling activities.

Candidate’s progress will be continually monitored throughout the programme. All candidates will be required to participate in a basic manual handling activity. Recommendations for further training may be made if candidates appear to have serious bad practice or are inexperienced.
