Course Aim:
The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision is designed for individuals working as supervisors in the construction industry. The main aim of this qualification is to: formally recognise and develop the skills, knowledge, and competence required to effectively supervise construction-related work activities on site.

To provide a nationally recognised qualification that confirms an individual's ability to supervise construction-related work activities effectively, safely, and in line with industry standards.

- Develop Supervisory Skills:
- Equip candidates with the knowledge and practical skills required to supervise work teams on construction sites.
- Promote Safe Working Practices:
- Ensure supervisors understand and apply health, safety, welfare, and environmental protection protocols.
- Improve Team Efficiency:
- Train supervisors to allocate work, manage time and resources, and monitor the quality of output.
- Support Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
- Help supervisors understand their role in ensuring site operations comply with legislation, regulations, and company procedures.
- Recognise Existing Skills:
- Provide experienced workers with a structured way to gain formal recognition of their existing supervisory skills through on-site assessment.
- Facilitate Career Progression:
- Enable candidates to progress toward higher-level roles within construction management and to apply for the CSR Gold Supervisor Card.
